Instead of risking or losing your Internet bookmarks, there is a way to save them on a web page. You can share this web page, bookmark it on your student's computers, share it with other teachers, have others add to it, etc. There is a site called Delicious that allows you to create social bookmarking lists.

Here's how you do it.
  1. When you find a web site you would want to save... copy the URL address
  2. Go to Delicious.
  3. Click join now (if you don't have an account) or log in if you have created one.
  4. Click "save a bookmark" on the right side of the screen.
  5. A new window will open and you can paste the address into the box and click next
  6. Then you can fill in the web site title and a brief description (the description is optional)
  7. The best part is the "tags" section. This is what creates your collections. You create your own tag "titles" and then reuse them or create new ones as you make each entry.
