Contests for Students:

  • The Center for the book in the Library of Congress, n partnership with Target, extend an invitation for your students to compete in Letters about literature, a National Reading and Writing Promotional Program for grades 4-12. To enter, students read a book and write a personal letter to the author, living or dead, from any genre explaining how that author's work changed their way of thinking about the world or themselves.   • Portraits of Learning Contest: Digital photo contest sponsored by Digital Kids Club. Students enter a competition by taking a photo that captures a unique vision of the world.
